DNA METHYLATION ANALYSIS IN ELECTRON MICROSCOPY
Until now, no data are available at electron microscopy on the detection of DNA methylation levels. Consequently, we would use this methodology to highlight possible differences between neoplastic cells and normal control cells. These samples will be analyzed according to their transcriptional rate, either physiological or modified by drugs or active molecules. It will be also interesting verify if chromosome territories in the metaphase nucleus show particular and specific methylation patterns, observable at EM.
