The current research interests are focused on the role of the cell cycle inhibitor p21CDKN1A in DNA repair mechanisms, with particular attention to the regulation of p300-mediated acetylation of DNA repair factors. The past experience has been related to investigations on the antiproliferative and pro-apoptotic effects of new molecules on different tumor cell lines.
