Research Project

Genetic variability analysis in human and animal populations
Human and animal evolutionary genetics is beginning to use methodological approaches that can simultaneously analyze a large number of genetic markers (with different modes of transmission) in each individual. However, most of the studies carried out so far, have generally focused on datasets containing only few subjects for each population or species. The project’s that I'm working on is intended to use these new techniques on a large number of subjects in order to allow analyses at both macro- and micro-geographical levels.
