CORE COURSES
Biostatistics. For students of the 1st year.

Bioinformatics. For students of the 2nd and 3rd year
Organizers: C. Binda, S. Bione, F. Peverali, R. Bellazzi
The course is organized with practicals and lessons. Practicals will be held on february 21, 2017 (whole day) and february 22 (morning) by two trainers of the EMBL-EBI staff (Cambridge UK, https://www.ebi.ac.uk/).
The following topics will be covered:
- Ensembl genomes: http://ensemblgenomes.org/
- Systems: interactions and pathways: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/intact/; http://www.ebi.ac.uk/intact/complex/; http://www.reactome.org/
Lessons will be in the form of three seminars that will take place in may 2017. A detailed programme will be posted when available.
